Our Mission
The 2022 Educators for Animals Conference will bring together educators from around the world to celebrate animals of all kinds and explore how animal advocacy can be incorporated into classes and school communities.

Schools serve animals as food, use them as learning tools (e.g. dissection), and view them on field trips, but what relationships with these animals do we explore and examine with our students? What do we really know about them? What are the experiences of the animals? What types of animals are we talking about in our classes? Educators are uniquely positioned to open up conversations about these relationships and to help turn the tide of our society’s overall indifference to the suffering of countless animals.

The conference is open to educators working with students at any age level - from Pre-K to Post-Secondary.
Last year’s conference drew over 600 educators from six continents and we’re excited to build on this momentum for an even better event this year.
