FAQs

Who can attend the conference?
The conference is geared towards educators at any level who are interested in incorporating animal issues and protection into their classes and school communities. No experience is necessary.

How can I attend the conference?
The conference is entirely virtual. In order to access the sessions you need to register (free). If you are registered, you will receive all of the conference information (including access info) shortly before the conference.

What technology will you be using for the conference?
We will be using the Zoom Webinar platform. For security reasons, all attendees will automatically be muted and their cameras turned off. Attendees will be able to submit questions and comments to the speakers during sessions though the Q and A function. Only the moderator, speakers, and tech person will be able to see these questions.

Should I still attend if I can’t make all of the sessions?
Yes. Come to as many sessions as you want.

Will the sessions be recorded?
Yes. All of the sessions will be recorded and made available to everyone who registered for the conference. If possible, however, we highly recommend that you attend as many live sessions as possible (this will also give you the ability to ask questions to the speakers).

Will closed captioning be available?
Yes. Click on the closed captioning icon (CC) in the bottom right of your Zoom Webinar screen to turn on captions if you wish.

Is there a Code of Conduct for the conference?
Yes. By registering for the conference you agree to the Code of Conduct and Terms & Conditions.

Can I sponsor the conference?
Yes! Please contact us and we’ll connect with you shortly.
